BELGRADE.

Belgrade hums quietly between rivers. Streets shift between old stone and modern concrete. Cafés spill onto sidewalks, conversation mixing with the aroma of coffee and the distant hum of trams. Light moves across the city, catching facades and water alike. By night, music drifts from doorways and lights scatter across the rivers. The city is measured and alive, waiting to be noticed.

Belgrade doesn’t need a spotlight - it draws you in with its rhythm, its character, and its undeniable sense of fun.

Aut Bistro is Belgrade at its most refined - understated, elegant, and deeply rooted in the pleasures of good food and good company. Tucked into a quiet street in Dorćol, it feels like a secret you’re lucky to stumble upon. The interior is warm and minimal, with soft lighting, natural textures, and an attention to detail that extends from the wine list to the final spoon of dessert. The menu is seasonal and thoughtful - modern European with a Serbian soul - every plate beautifully composed without ever feeling fussy. Aut isn’t about flash. It’s about slowing down, savouring the moment, and realising you’ve just had one of the best meals in the city.

Why we liked it: The food was tremendous and the atmosphere was even better. Very cool and really friendly service. Made us feel at home.

EAT.

Draft is minimal, effortless, and exactly as it should be. Concrete floors, clean lines, a wall of taps - everything designed to let you take control. Pour your own beer, find your spot, and settle in. The energy is quiet, the pace is yours, and every detail feels considered. Simple, confident, and unhurried.

Why we liked it: Who doesn’t like pouring their own pints? Had the best red ale we’ve ever tasted.

DISCOVER.

Watch the sunset over the Sava and Danube from Belgrade fortress. The rivers meet below, turning gold as the sun drops. The air cools, the city fades into soft shadows, and people pause along the edge - friends, strangers, anyone taking it in. The light hangs a little longer, time slows, and it’s the kind of view that stays with you.

Why we liked it: Just a really peaceful, tranquil way to end the day. Beautiful scenery and if you’re lucky, great music from one of the nearby bars.
